BASF eco house

As part of our commitment to improve energy management, AJU are observing an ongoing study by The University of Nottingham’s School of the Built Environment.

The BASF House is one of several being built as part of the Creative Energy Homes Project, using the most up-to-date building techniques, insulation materials and technology in order to promote new ways of providing affordable, environmentally sustainable housing.

To obtain the best energy performance from the already highly energy efficient building, the BASF house employs intelligent systems which allow the occupants complete control over their environment.

Data collected through sophisticated monitoring equipment throughout the house is helping to inform and shape the future of intelligent and sustainable building design.

Using the BASF house as a model AJU are working to design low impact systems harnessing new and highly efficient technologies such as low energy lighting, solar power and air heat exchanges.
